It makes you laugh and at the same time hurts you and makes you cry.
Jholay, a socio-crime satire/dark comedy, is a common man’s story who dares to dream and hopes to achieve something bigger and better in life. But as usual life has something different planned for him. Stuck in a strange yet funny circumstances are such dreamers, the three distinctly different individuals leading completely different lives. One is a foreign immigrant worker, other is a small time prostitute and the last one is a weirdo with strange names.
MEGHA is film about relationship of a professional architect from upper middle class girl caught between two men, her husband and boyfriend. The film illustrates the emotional journey of a young professional married woman Megha (Namrata Shrestha) who is married to Ishan (Raymon Das Shrestha) and falls in love with Gaurab (Siddhartha Koirala).
A fine script, fabulous music, outstanding performance by artists, overall, Mokshya is marvelous and a must watch movie. Starring Kosis Chhetri and Benisha Hamal, the movie is about the life of music band artist with a mixture of humor and sadness.
Jhola becomes successful in portraying the story of most evil custom of Nepal, ‘Sati Pratha’ in a pleasing way. Based on the well known writer Krishna Dharabasi’s novel, the movie also depicts the relationship between a mother and son beautifully.
